THE LATEST SPORTS NEWS – A pulsating 90-minute
friendly encounter between Italy and France resulted into a 1-2 loss for the
Italians on Wednesday.
France seemed poised to win w1th ease over the Italian
hosts. Two minutes after El-Shaarawy’s goal, Mathieu Valbuena scored a crucial
equalizer. Bafetimbi Gomis successfully scored the winner on the 67th minute
after taking over Patrice Evra’s pass.
Stephan El-Shaarawy scored the
opening goal 35 minutes past kick-off. Earlier, Mario Balotelli failed to score
in a close attempt that landed on the goal bar.
