THE LATEST SPORTS NEWS – The 2012 World Pool-Billiard
Association (WPA) World 10 Ball Championship will finally push through to a new
date on November 19 to 25. Its venue will be the SM North EDSA Skydome in
Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines.
The Philippines has hosted all three previous WPA
World 10 Ball Championship events since it first started in 2008. WPA President
Ian Anderson called Metro Manila, the capital of the country, as “the best
place to go in hosting pool”, labelling the city as “the pool Mecca in Asia”.

Event organizer PRISMRaya Sports
previously postponed said event from its original date on October 9 to 14 due
to lack of necessary equipment. The organizer sought to compensate by
organizing another event – the WPA World Pool Summit scheduled on November 26
to 28 and December 1 to 4.
After the events, the WPA will
announce its winners for the 2012 Male and Female Player of the Year.
