The Republic of Ireland manager, who recently denied that he plans to resign amidst media pressure for his side’s lacklustre performance particularly in EURO 2012, said that they “are in a good position in the table” after his side have played past through rival Faroe Islands impressively.
Trapattoni said that he still has no plans to resign as manager of Republic of Ireland. He added that they are now preparing for their next match in November against Greece and he wishes to keep the solid performance of his side by that time.
